How did this design improve life?:
Today many people want to go outside to be active and explore the nature, look at the country and the beauty it offers.
This group of nature lovers consists of fishermen, hunters, biologists, naturalists etc. These people have different views on the nature and therefore different reasons to go out and live under the skies.
Despite the differences they all need a place to sleep and mobility. A place to sleep is very important for these nature lovers since a trip to the nature often has duration of more than two days. This gives them a possibility to unite with nature and increase the social feeling, when they are more than one. Mobility is of a high priority too, as theese naturelovers have to be able to pack their things quickly and find a new and sometimes more beneficial position in nature.

Short description of design:
The design is developed on wishes and demands from naturelovers. Maximum space usage and functionality has been keywords through the design phase. The multi functional camper solves all the needs for a good experience in nature.
Functionallity and use of design:
The camper has an easy accessed storageroom on top when camper is closed, the same storageroom can be accessed when camper is open(image 2)The camper has a draw for clothes, which means you do not need to bring suitcases along.The rear and front is storage for the mobile kitchen, gas and spare wheel. The top of the camper turns into the floor when you flip it open and automatically fold out the tent. Here you access the bed and the storageroom benith it. The camper has room for 4 people.
Drawbacks of life improvement:
There will always be drawbacks, and in this case there will be aswell. The nature will be more explored and that can have an effect(garbage,damaged trees etc.) Also when this product will be prodused, it will affect the nature.(global warming, materials that have to break down again etc.)
Research and need:
To design this camper I did a lot of research. I looked into the existing market within campers and then talked to the users of theese. Theese users are just regular people who want to drive to a certain camping areas and enjoy the company of other people and not challenge nature.
From here I started talking to people that like to challenge nature and ask them why they do not have a "camper". What I found out was that the nature lovers did not want to buy existing campers because it among other things are designed for family use in the 70's.
This group of people need quality, security, functionality and belives in strong brands. That is the reason I choose Volvo brandvalue
