Kigge Hvid |
Kigge is a visual artist by profession and was appointed Director of INDEX: in January 2002. Prior to this, Kigge was the first Director of Øksnehallen, an exhibition centre for the arts, commerce and culture in the heart of Copenhagen. She developed the concept, created the organisation and together with a unique staff she managed the exhibition centre for five years.
As Project Manager for the 1996 European City of Culture event in Copenhagen, Kigge created the Copenhagen Fashion Biennale, Hyper Hall. She was responsible for the national and international opening events and a number of international exhibitions.
Kigge is a board member of Copenhagen City Centre and the Sophus Foundation.
In 2001, Kigge and Wickie created Klub 100, a charitable “Network of Surplus” for the Danish Red Cross.
Kigge is in charge of management of the INDEX: Foundation and the INDEX: Award and is spokesperson for INDEX:.

Wickie Meier |
Wickie is a fashion designer by profession and graduated from Designskolen Kolding.
Wickie was assigned to INDEX: in January 2002, after 15 years as a designer, project manager and management consultant in Copenhagen, Stockholm and Malmö.
As project manager and designer at her Copenhagen-based company NowHere, Wickie has worked with business processes, development coaching and workshop facilitating.
She has worked for leading Danish companies, such as Munthe plus Simonsen, Georg Jensen, BG Bank, Post Danmark, Nordea and the Ørestad Development Company.
Wickie has extensive experience within trends, design and development for creative companies and educational institutions. For the last decade she has been a part of KaosPilots (a project manager programme based in Aarhus) and the KaosManagement Network. Since 2000, she has been a member of the KaosPilots Inspirational Lounge.
Between 1996 and 2001, Wickie was the project manager of the annual Copenhagen Fashion and Design Festival, and along with Kigge she created Klub 100 – a charitable “Network of Surplus’ for the Danish Red Cross. She has lectured at Masters of Media in Sweden and at Kaospilots in Aarhus.
At INDEX: Wickie is responsible for Views, the network and for development.

Peter Bech |
Peter was assigned to INDEX: in October 2003.
Prior to this, Peter held the position as Director of Øksnehallen – an exhibition centre for the arts, commerce and culture in Copenhagen – for two years and was technical director of the centre for five years.
Peter held the position as Technical Director of Værket – a music and theatre venue in Randers – for five years, and for several years he worked for the architectural firm Kjær & Richter in Aarhus.

Gunnar Näsman |
Gunnar joined the INDEX: crew in May 2005.
Gunnar graduated from the interdisciplinary department TMR at The Danish Designschool in 2004.
Apart from the Danish DesignSchool Gunnar also studied at Design Academy Eindhoven, Holland and at Accademia Italiana Florence, Italy.
During his studies Gunnar also worked at Bosch&Fjord.
Gunnar is part of the steering committee of DN1. A designers network focusing on stretegic-, intangible and human-centered design.
Gunnars is Kigges assistent and is co-ordinating and managing parts of the INDEX:Award exhibition.

Susanne Muurmand |
Susanne joined INDEX: as a secretary in July 2005.
She has originally graduated from the Copenhagen Business School with a linguistic secretarial diploma.
But the past 15 years she has persued an artistic carreer as a dancer, teacher and choreographer primarily on the theatre. She has produced a number of her own theatre production and is also the troupe leader of “Gypsy Mystique Dancers”.
At INDEX: she takes care of the administration, she is the voice on the phone and also one of the contact persons in connection with the Granny-project (Grannies taking care of INDEX: Exhibition).

Nis Jakob |
Nis is an experienced writer of very exiting and sometimes very funny novels being published at Borgen. He joined the INDEX: crew in July 2005 to become webmaster and editor of the www.INDEX2005.dk.
He holds a bachelor degree in cultural sociology, and was in his younger days a singer and a song writer in the famous underground band Return of Andy touring round the DK in a wreck.
Besides that he is a cartoonist with 20 years of experience in satiric illustration, daily strips in newspapers and illustration of children’s books. He has also worked as copy writer for commercials, scriptwriter for TV and has been teaching and coaching artist to brand and promote themselves.

Adam von Haffner |
Adam joined the INDEX: crew as an intern in december 2005.
He has graduated from “Den Grafiske Højskole” in 2005 with a Creative Basics diploma. In addition he studied journalism at the University of Southern Denmark in Odense.
As an independent copy writer, Adam founded his own company, Inkubator, in 2004, and in 2005 he joined a creative community of young aspiring individuals called Republikken.
The past 2 years Adam worked as a writer and translator for the acclaimed golf magazine, Golf Digest DK.
At INDEX: he works as a project coordinator and linguistic consultant.
